Rise Up & Carve is a daily Virtual Spoon Carving Gathering using the Zoom video conferencing app initiated by US spoon carver Chuck Trella on Feb 27, 2019.

Since then an International community of spoon carvers from the US, Canada, UK, Germany, Netherlands,  Austria, Australia, Mexico, & Israel,  has formed.

Why ‘Rise Up’? Well, it is based on a simple concept: When we join together we are better motivated and inspired to create a daily carving habit and push our skills to another level. It also promotes intercultural exchange and allows us to meet & carve with those we might never have the opportunity to meet in person. 

When? Our Zoom ID is available to be opened & used by anyone, anywhere, 24×7. 

Scheduled Daily Times:

– 6am UK Time    (10pm Pacific US, 1am Eastern US, 3pm Sydney AU)

– 6am Eastern US Time (3am Pacific US, 11am UK, 8pm Sydney AU) 

– 8am Pacific Time (11am Eastern US, 4pm UK, 1am Sydney AU) 

– 8pm Israel Time (1pm Eastern US, 6pm UK, 3am Sydney AU) 

But people are logging in at all times throughout the day. So jump in and if nobody is there, wait for a bit. More than likely someone will join in before too long. 
Scheduled Weekly Times:
– Sunday 3pm Pacific (6pm Eastern, 11pm UK, 8am Sydney AU) 

 

How? Download the free Zoom app for your device. Click Join Meeting and enter:

It is always the same ID & PW no matter what time you are joining. Anyone can join in. Come & go as you are able. No obligation, no costs, no strings. You do not need to “sign up” – just login & show up when you desire.  There are no commitments. Only an opportunity to join in with a growing community of spoon carvers from all over the world.
